Looking east from Blackfriars station.
I like to capture images on a variety of themes, including landscapes, street scenes, nature subjects and live events. At times I seek closeups, unusual angles and varied styles, striving for the abstract. I try to take inspiration from a number of other photographers and to learn from the outcomes. I often provide images for a local community park and have staged an exhibition in their visitor centre. I also have ongoing projects relating to family history and to my former seafaring career, involving salvaging and restoring old prints.
