I spent my working life working for Kodak on the technical side: starting in research and then working in Marketing as a Product Planner/Specialist for Professional, Photo-Finishing and AV markets before returning to the Harrow factory in quality control of colour negative film production, which resulted in my being the last resort for weird customer complaints. It gave me the opportunity to try many aspects of photography, generally associated with my other hobbies: gardening and botany, old motor cars and Church recording for NADFAS.
The three prints on show represent my attempt to overcome a difficulty with single pictures in capturing an effect I strive for. They are also probably influenced by my audio-visual experience, so each is a mosaic of images from the plant kingdom largely linked by their predominant colour, exploring the effects of light and surface textures. Here is just one from a group of twenty.
