To all of you who were involved in Invisible Threads, I think it was probably one of the best (if not the best) of exhibitions launched by HFF. It was an enormous justification to Rosemary’s original idea of exhibiting at the old Town Hall building.
Rosemary first came up with the idea in 2009 under the auspices of STARTS but when that organization was replaced by the council it all went into hibernation until 2018 when the process was raised again by Rosemary.
It’s taken a long time but well worth the wait. The imagination and execution is superb and you are all to be congratulated, Rosemary would have been so proud.
All best wishes, Avril Harris.

After well over a year of planning, anticipation, and last minute finishing preparations,Thursday, 12 January 2023, brought the private view of HFF’s exhibit at St Albans Gallery and Museum.
Gathering beneath the glorious ceiling of the Assembly Room, we welcomed our friends and families, remembered Rosemary Cooper, and thanked those who made it all happen.

Sarah Keeling, Gallery curator (above), Cllr Allison Wren (below) and Jim Paterson, HFF coordinator, spoke words of appreciation.
